EFT – Yoga – TRE® GATHERING
So what is the“Gathering?”
Laura Ocampo, has partnered with Cathryn Taylor (check her website) to offer a bi-monthly, yoga-enhanced version of the EFT and TRE® gatherings!
These bi-monthly, hour-long meetings begin with a brief description of a selected topic for that evening’s gathering (see list of topics below). This sets the intention for the EFT tapping sequences and invites you to tune in to that topic in a more personal way. The tapping sequences themselves neutralize the stress related to that topic and introduce and reinforce a new paradigm and intention.
Laura then leads you through, what we’ve come to call, “Energetic Yoga Movements” or EYM (as described above). This set of gentle yoga poses will create a flow of energy that gives you a way to physically dislodge any dissonance. This also prepares your body to engage in the TRE® Protocol that Cathryn guides you through which releases stress and reduces trauma related to that topic.
We end the hour-long gathering with an Integrative Meditation.
The EFT-EYM-TRE® Gathering offers you a dynamic way to move from your workweek right into your weekend.
We accomplish this through:

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW HAS NOT BEEN INTRODUCED TO EFT OR TRE® BUT STILL WANTS TO ATTEND, we ask that they arrive 30 minutes early and Cathryn will walk them through the protocols and introduce them to the necessary aspects of each modality. After the introduction, they should feel comfortable participating in the event. There’s an additional $5.00 charge for that demonstration.

EFT? Energy Tapping, commonly referred to as Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) was developed by Gary Craig. It has provided thousands with relief from pain, addictions, diseases, and emotional issues. Simply stated, it is an emotional version of acupuncture except needles aren’t necessary. Instead, you stimulate well-established energy meridian endpoints on your body by tapping on them with your fingertips. This sends an electrical impulse to the electrical energy system of the part of your body which is being affected by the unresolved feelings. When you simultaneously stimulate the meridian points while stating phrases which represent your current discomfort, you “neutralize” the energy associated with that challenging emotion. You can then use tapping to reinforce a new, more positive feeling. Tapping addresses unresolved feelings you experience when processing any form of pain or expansion. It essentially unties the knots of tension and stress and replaces them with hope, faith, and grace. The process is easy to memorize and is portable so you can do it anywhere.
EYM? Energetic Yoga Movements (EYM) is a series of yoga poses that warm up the specified muscle groups which in turn enables the body to easily engage in the TRE® neurogenic shaking. Intentionally positioned after the EFT Sequences it invites the body to filter the essence of the targeted topic of these gatherings through the muscles and fibers that hold discord. Following these poses with the TRE ®Protocol and closing with an Integrative Meditation enables your body to release and let go of all that was stored and dislodged
TRE® Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE®) is an innovative series of movements developed by Dr. David Bercelli that safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating. This releases muscular tension, calms down the nervous system and encourages the body to return back to a state of balance. TRE® is based on the fundamental idea, backed by research, that stress, tension, and trauma are both psychological and physical. TRE®’s reflexive muscle vibrations generally feel pleasant and soothing. TRE® is designed to be a self-help tool that, once learned, can be used independently as needed throughout one’s life as a continued support.
